Dream It.
Build It. Drive It.

From classic restorations to one-of-a-kind hot rods — we bring your vision to life. Fabrication, paint, performance, and everything in between, all under one roof in Fullerton.

The complete shop. From first sketch to first
drive - and every mile after.

Most shops can build a car. Some can restore one. A few can service them. We do all three — under one roof, with the same crew, holding everything to the same standard. Here’s how a project moves through MAC.

Dream It

It usually starts with an idea you’ve been carrying around for years. A car you saw as a kid. A magazine page you saved. A vague picture of something that doesn’t exist yet but won’t leave you alone.

Bring that to us. We’ll sit down, talk through what you’re imagining, and start figuring out how to make it real — what’s possible, what’s smart, and what’s going to make you grin every time you turn the key.

Build It

This is where the dream meets the metal. Frame work, fabrication, engine builds, paint, interior, electrical — it all happens on our shop floor, by our team, with no hand-offs to outside vendors who don’t share our standards.

We build with the customer alongside us, not in the dark. You’ll see progress. You’ll get updates. And when something comes up that needs a decision, you’ll be the one making it.

Drive It

Build day. The moment when months of work turn into a key in your hand and a car in your driveway that didn’t exist before. Some of our favorite days at the shop.

We’ll walk you through everything — what we did, what to watch for, how to break it in. Then we hand it over and let you go enjoy it.

Service It

Custom cars are still cars. They need oil, alignment, brakes, and the occasional fix — and they shouldn’t be handed off to a shop that’s never seen them before.

We service every car we build, plus plenty we didn’t. Routine maintenance is what turns a great build into a long-lasting one — and there’s nobody better to look after your car than the team who built it.

Upgrade It

Time changes. Tech changes. Your taste changes. The build you finished three years ago might be ready for a new exhaust, a stronger drivetrain, modern audio, or a fresh set of wheels.

We’ll guide you through what works, what fits, and what’s worth it — keeping your car compatible, reliable, and exactly the way you want it.

Show It

A car this good shouldn’t sit in the garage. When the build’s done, you’re part of the MAC Speed & Custom Car Club — and that means a standing invite to BIG Wednesdays, our weekly car show, where you can show her off, talk shop, and hang with the crew.

Three specialties. One shop floor.

Custom and restoration work covers a lot of ground — from a daily-driver classic that needs honest mechanical care, to a hot rod chasing real horsepower, to a one-off custom that requires fabrication work nobody else can do. We’ve built dedicated capability in three areas, all under the same roof, by the same crew.

Performance Upgrades

Real horsepower gains, dialed-in handling, and exhaust work that performs as good as it sounds. Engineering-first tuning for street, track, and everything in between.

Classic Car Service

Specialized service for vintage and classic vehicles — the cars modern shops don't know how to work on. Carburetors, points ignition, period-correct mechanical work, sensible upgrades.

Fabrication & Metalwork

Custom chassis, body panels, exhaust systems, and one-off parts. The work that turns "you can't buy this" into "I built this." In-house, by hand.

Most builds touch all three. The strength of the shop is that they’re not separate services — they’re parts of the same craft, done by the same people.

Recent Work from the Shop Floor

Hot rods. Classic restorations. Full ground-up customs. Every build that rolls out of MAC Speed & Custom is one of a kind — fabricated, tuned, and finished by the same crew that maintains it long after delivery.

Every project is one of a kind, and most of them combine all three specialties — performance, restoration, and fabrication — into a single car. Here’s a look at some of what’s rolled out lately.
