11/07/2020 - cars for Erin
On November 7th, Minor Auto Care | MAC Speed & Custom teamed up with Stripes of a Warrior for a Car Show and Vendor Fair to help support Erin Duffey’s financial fight with Cancer.
Erin, a wife and mother to 3 beautiful kids, ages 19, 13, and 9, was diagnosed in June 2020 with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. With Erin needing to be in attendance for her infusions for her upcoming bone marrow transplant on the day of the car show, her daughter Sammy, was able to attend representing her mom and family.
100% of the proceeds for registrations, raffle prices and as well as generous donations from the food trucks High Rollers BBQ, Scooters Italian Ice, Salt & Pepper and Tres Compas Mexican Grill as well as the many other local vendors.
Although the day started out with rain, it was a great to see the dedicated show cars there for the cause. As the rain dissipated and the sun started to peek through around 11am, many family, friends and spectators started to come to show their support.
With such a great turn out, we are proud to announce we were able to raise $20,000!
To all the people who generously gave their time, money and service, we are deeply grateful for your acts of loving kindness and know we couldn’t do it without you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
To Erin, we are praying for you and your family and look forward to you being able to breathe a little easier with your financial battle, so that you can give your full focus on kicking cancers butt!
